1974 AD Band of Nepal

The band was formed in 1994, and its name is derived from the Nepali calendar year 1974 BS (Bikram Sambat). The original members of the band included Phiroj Shyangden (vocals, guitars), Nirakar Yakthumba (drums), Niraj Gurung (bass), and Bhanu A (keyboards). They were later joined by Manoj Kumar KC (saxophone) and Subash Kunwar (lead guitars).


1974 AD's music can be described as a fusion of rock, blues, and pop, with lyrics often touching on themes of love, life, and social issues.
